Amanda Van Erden, MSW, LICSW, CIMHP
I care deeply about providing excellent mental health care to my clients. I have over 14 years of experience, working in private practice and healthcare settings. I specialize in stress management, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, and healthy lifestyle behavioral modification. I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) so I am able to provide education to improve mood through nutrition.
I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). I take a person-centered, solution-focused approach to treatment. I received my undergraduate degree from St. Norbert College. I have a master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a second bachelor’s degree in health and wellness from Kaplan University. I am currently pursuing my doctorate degree in social work with Capella University.
